“This is the next revolution in digital imaging,” said David Mendelson, MD, FACR, Chief of Clinical Informatics at The Mount Sinai Medical Center and Chief Clinical Investigator for RSNA Image Share.  The patients are happy in the way they have direct access to physicians with their reports on the cloud which can be forwarded to the latter and no further examination for every physician is to be done.

he RSNA Image Share project is funded by the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering at NIH.In the test phase, Patients are allowed to upload the images of their reports and create a personal health report on the cloud. The doctor examines the previous reports and current scenario and suggests the treatment and medicines on the cloud itself. The other advantage is a personal health record of patient is created and the doctor knows the previous data and previous treatment given to the patient.

Cloud Computing in healthcare is doing wonders but the real problem is a lot of persons are still unware of this term and how much potential it has.
