Steve Jobs Take on Cloud Computing [1997 Video]

Much before anyone could really judge the potential of Cloud Computing, Steve jobs already predicted the potential and success of Cloud Computing back in 1997. Apple Visionary talks about Cloud Computing in the video in a press talk in 1997.

Steve Jobs has been my inspirer and it’s really shocking and inspiring to see him talk about something so powerful 15 years back. He really knew What works and what doesn’t, that is the sole reason Apple is leading company today.

Back in 1997,He said that :

None of his data is on the local disk but on the Server which he logs on from anywhere and starts working .”

He even talks about what’s the purpose of hard disk on the computer if there are servers which one can work and store data on.

Does this mean in future we can see Apple creating Devices with no hard disk and all the data on the server following Steve Jobs’ approach of Cloud Computing?

Thanks to this approach of Steve Jobs, we have Apple using Cloud Computing as a biggest weapon to compete against it’s competitors like Microsoft , Google , Samsung and much more. iCloud is result of thinking of Steve Jobs and that’s what differentiates Apple from other companies.
